MM FAQ: Why haven't I received any ads?

Happy New Year Everyone!

One of the most asked questions we get is 'why haven't I received any ads?'. Well, there are several reasons why you may not be receiving ads. Let's break down the possiblities - we're hoping this will clear things up.

1. You may, in fact, be receiving ads, but you haven't logged in to view them. Advertisers are required to set an expiry date on their ad campaigns. This can be as short as a day and as long as a month. Once an ad campaign expires the ad is removed from your MM Inbox, so, it may be a case where you have missed the ad because you haven't logged in for awhile. MM recommends you check your MM Inbox often to avoid missing out on any ads.

2. Advertisers use our Search feature to find users to advertise to - they can use a broad criteria search such as 'All Males and Females' or a more specific search such as 'Males - aged 25-30 - living in New York', if you are not found within their search results, you will not receive the ad. Furthermore, if you have not completed your questionnaire, you may be missing out on ads when advertisers search based on the questionnaire answers. Take a moment now to complete your questionnaire.

3. And lastly, we are a new company and we are in the first stages of growth. We are working hard and diligently on growing both our user and advertiser members. We expect growth to be rapid, however, during this time you may not be recieving ads frequently. We ask for your patience and your continued support in helping us grow.
